The Last Coracle Man

Ironbridge Gorge – Colebrookdale.
A Coreten Steel Profile Sculpture in the floodplain of Colebrookdale UNESCO Global Heritage Site.April 2021    

                         

A Monument to Tommy Rogers, the last Coracle Man, sited in the prestigious location at the slipyard  of the Museum of the Gorge, Ironbridge.
 

Working alongside the Coracle  Museum and their trustees this piece was hand cut and contour finished in Coreten weathering steel and painted to create contrast with the river and forest.
