Ceunant Mountaineering Cottage – Nant Peris – Llanberis –Snowdonia

This Gateway was commissioned to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Ceunant Mountaineering Club and has been installed on the ancient Llanberis Pass at the base of Mount Snowdon. 

​

The piece is 4 metres long, built from Galvanised steel and designed to mirror the mountain range behind it. The gate’s aesthetic is inspired by the contour lines which denote high mountains on the Ordnance Survey Maps used in mountaineering .
