Corridor of Colour

At a time when most people were in isolation due to Covid 19 Luke created a 1km corridor of bunting and colour throughout a Black Country village. The Bunting was an interpretive piece with each banner painted to represent the artworks and shoutouts of local residents.

The effect of the installation was an incredible boost to local morale at a time when many people's spirits were at the lowest ebb.

'The beautiful bunting that I could see out of my window brought the first smile to my face in all of those dark months. As I am over 80 I was afraid and had felt isolated from my friends and family, the Coridor of colour was the first sign of hope' - Local resident.

Corridor of Colour was a lockdown project funded by Creative Blackcountry
